सार

The purpose of the examination is to measure the competencies of students. With time, as there has been a change in the evaluation system. From the beginning, examinations have been conducted using the traditional method. But ever since 1986, technology has been incorporated into education. There has been a new turn in education, which, along with education, is done with the help of technology. This research paper studied the Attitude and Perception towards the Traditional Examination System and the Computer-based Examination System. The study was conducted among B.Ed. students of the University of Lucknow and was limited to the city of Lucknow. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. Data were collected using a self-developed scale. Appropriate statistical techniques, including descriptive statistics, parametric and non-parametric tests, and correlation analysis, were employed. The findings reveal that students’ Attitudes and Perceptions towards the traditional examination system and Computer-based examination systems do not significantly differ by gender or region. Moderate relationships were observed between related attitude and perception constructs, while associations with exam performance were weak. Overall, the results indicate that demographic factors have minimal effect on students’ attitudes and perceptions, and these variables have limited predictive value for examination outcomes.
